Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. is seeking an EDI Analyst to support, maintain, and improve its EDI systems and processes. The role ensures smooth, accurate, and efficient exchange of business documents with trading partners.

You will monitor EDI transmissions, troubleshoot errors, onboard new partners, and collaborate with IT, logistics, finance, and customer service to ensure accurate data exchange and compliant mappings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with EDI systems and processes.
• Familiar with ANSI X12 EDI standards and transaction sets (e.g. 850,855,856,810).
• Experience with EDI Platforms such as SPS Commerce, Oracle, and other EDI tools as needed.
• Knowledge of 940,945,947 EDI documents is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily EDI transmissions to ensure successful and accurate document exchange (e.g., 850,855,856,810).
• Investigate and resolve EDI errors, transmission failures, and collaborate with SPS Commerce on mapping issues.
• Coordinate setup and onboarding of new trading partners, including testing and validation of EDI transactions.
• Work with IT, customer service, logistics and finance teams to resolve EDI-related operational issues.
• Collaborate with external customers and EDI partners’ customer service teams.
