Job summary

City Electric Supply in Dallas, TX is seeking an EDI Integrations Team Lead to manage data exchanges across the company and with suppliers and customers. You will document, assess, implement, test, and optimize EDI and integrations, onboarding partners and guiding the migration to a centralized third-party platform.

The role requires collaboration with IT project teams, leadership of the EDI group, and strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years EDI experience in a related field.
• Experience implementing, maintaining, and overseeing EDI services.
• Experience documenting EDI solutions, test data, and information exchanges.
• EDI and SFTP experience (FTP over VPN, SFTP, FTPS).
• Knowledge of ANSI X12 transactions and moving data between platforms.
• Experience with API integrations and bespoke solutions.
• Experience in B2B/B2C environments.
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence; leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document and assess the current EDI and integrations setup.
• Implement, test, and adjust EDI integrations with customers and suppliers.
• Meet with customers and suppliers to design data exchange solutions.
• Onboard partners with third-party vendors.
• Serve as the point of contact for CES relationships.
• Maintain and update the existing EDI model; perform periodic system updates.
• Lead migrating in-house EDI to a centralized third-party platform.
• Train customers and suppliers on using the EDI system.
• Model business processes and identify improvements.
• Lead the EDI team and prioritize workload; work with IT project teams.
