Job summary

System One seeks an EDI EDIFECS Application Developer for a permanent full-time role in Chicago, IL or Lafayette, LA. This hybrid position requires a strong background in EDI, data integration, and modern software practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with production ready solutions.
• Deep understanding of database schema design, optimization and scalability.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, Teradata, MongoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD and source control tools (GitLab, GitHub, TFS).
• Proficient in EDI applications: Edifecs v9.1, BizTalk 2016, SSIS.
• Working knowledge of X12N, HL7, and FHIR.
• WCF, Web Services, Java, C#, .NET, SQL/SSIS for EDI.
• API Apps and API Management Portal; VSTFS
• AWS services, Scrum/SAFe Agile, and Jenkins are a plus.

• Design, develop, and maintain high quality software

• Simplify and improve existing application code ensuring high unit test coverage
• Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks

Required Qualifications

• Proficient in EDI applications: Edifecs v9.1, BizTalk 2016, SSIS, and their components
• Working knowledge of X12N transactions, HL7 messages, and FHIR
• WCF, Web Services, Java, C#, .NET framework, SQL/SSIS development related to EDI
• API Apps, API Management Portal
• Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (VSTFS)
• MS SQL Servers 2012, 2014, 2016
• System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), SCOM
• Bachelor's degree in computer science/software engineering or equivalent work experience
• Excellent problem solving, communication skills
