Job summary

System One seeks an EDI EDIFECS Application Developer for a permanent full-time role in Chicago, IL or Lafayette, LA. This hybrid position requires a strong background in EDI, data integration, and modern software practices.

You will design, develop, and integrate solutions across EDI applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Edifecs, BizTalk, SSIS, and related technologies, plus a solid foundation in database design and modern

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with production ready solutions.
• Deep understanding of database schema design, optimization and scalability.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, Teradata, MongoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD and source control tools (GitLab, GitHub, TFS).
• Proficient in EDI applications: Edifecs v9.1, BizTalk 2016, SSIS.
• Working knowledge of X12N, HL7, and FHIR.
• WCF, Web Services, Java, C#, .NET, SQL/SSIS for EDI.
• API Apps and API Management Portal; VSTFS
• AWS services, Scrum/SAFe Agile, and Jenkins are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate EDI solutions across applications.
• Write clean, secure, efficient, and modular code.
• Maintain high unit test coverage and improve existing code.
• Identify bottlenecks and resolve performance issues.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QEs, Scrum Masters, and teams to deliver value.
• Stay current with technologies and industry trends; mentor junior engineers.
