Job summary

VLink Inc. in Lafayette, Louisiana is seeking an experienced EDI EDIFECS Application Developer to design, develop, and integrate EDI solutions across enterprise applications.

You will work with cross-functional teams and manage technical challenges while delivering reliable software. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of software development, strong SQL/SSIS, familiarity with Edifecs v9.1, BizTalk, and EDI standards, plus a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with a successful track record of production ready solutions
• Deep understanding of all things "database" schema design, optimization, scalability, etc.
• Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Teradata, MongoDB
• Experience with continuous integration and source code control such as GitLab, GitHub, TFS
• Proficient in EDI applications: Edifecs v9.1, BizTalk 2016, SSIS, and their components
• Working knowledge of X12N transactions, HL7 messages, and FHIR
• WCF, Web Services, Java, C#, .NET framework, SQL/SSIS development related to EDI
• API Apps, API Management Portal
• MS SQL Servers 2012, 2014, 2016
• Bachelor's degree in computer science/software engineering or equivalent work experience
• Excellent problem solving, communication skills
• Candidate must be passionate about technology, writing code and solving problems
• Ability to work both independently and in close partnership with cross functional teams and management; a motivated team member who enjoys learning and sharing knowledge
