Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking a Director of Data & Integrations - EDI to lead a skilled development team focused on data-centric EDI systems. You will steer architecture for CDM changes, own ticket workflows in Jira, and collaborate with implementation and operations leads on timelines and delivery.

The role requires hands-on development with Mirth Connect and SQL Server, plus leadership across Agile teams to ensure high availability and compliant data handling within HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
• 7+ years experience in Data Integrations and 3-4 years in Healthcare.
• 2+ years leadership experience required.
• Hands-on experience with Mirth Connect required.
• 5+ years’ experience in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• 5+ years’ experience with C#, TypeScript, JavaScript or Java.
• Experience with enterprise-scale, high availability systems and Agile methods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the EDI development team and prioritize work.
• Maintain client timelines for new development and ensure documentation standards.
• Lead architecture decisions for CDM and EDI extracts.
• Mentor and cross-train team members; coordinate backups for continuity.
• Represent the EDI team in Agile Scrum planning and reporting.
• Coordinate Mirth Connect renewal and upgrades across teams.
• Produce automated reporting and support product portals.
