Job summary

Med‑Metrix seeks a Director of Data & Integrations - EDI to lead a skilled EDI development team, align business requirements with technical roadmaps, and guide architecture for CDM and extracts. The role combines hands-on development with strategic leadership in a healthcare data environment.

You will mentor staff, oversee Jira governance, and participate in Agile planning, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality EDI capabilities and HIPAA‑compliant data flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7 years in Data Integrations and 3–4 years in Healthcare.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience with Mirth Connect.
• 5+ years Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• 5+ years coding with C#, TypeScript, JavaScript or Java.
• Experience with HIPAA and data privacy requirements.
• Track record delivering enterprise-scale, high-availability systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and prioritize the EDI development team's work.
• Ensure client timelines for new development are understood and met.
• Collaborate with Implementation and Operations leads; coordinate requirements and issues.
• Oversee Jira processes; ensure documentation and queue readiness.
• Lead CDM design sessions and architecture for CDM/extract changes.
• Mentor team members and represent EDI in Agile planning and reviews.
• Own standards and coding practices across EDI solutions.
• Coordinate Mirth renewal, upgrades, and cross-team activities.
• Produce automated Jira‑Assets reporting and quarterly licensing outputs.
• Function as technical liaison with trading partners; handle escalations.
