Qualifications

• Experience in translating EDI Requirements into Functional Specifications.
• Very good understanding of EDI standards including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and HIPPA.
• Technical expertise in defining EDI Transaction Sets and conducting EDI testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage EDI system objectives and tasks for seamless transactions.
• Coordinate with vendors and trading partners for functional analysis.
• Conduct troubleshooting and testing to ensure data integrity.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in translating EDI Requirements into Functional Specifications
• Experience in Data mapping and data conversion using IBM Sterling Integrator
• Experience in Sterling file gateway for secure file transfer activities
• Experience in mapping SAP and non-sap application to variety of EDI layouts
• Very good understanding of the EDI Translator - IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Sterling file gateway services
• EDI standards - Technical expertise in EDI ANSI X12 (since primarily used by US Business ), EDIFACT , Tradecoms and HIPPA standards.
• Communication protocols - Technical understanding of the protocols including FTP, HTTP, SFTP, HTTPS, AS2, VAN, TCP/IP, SMTP, SNMP, IMAP, and JMS
• EDI Transaction Set - Technical expertise in defining and understanding 180, 810,812,820,823, 824, 850,855,852,856,844,845,846,849,861,867,875,880,940,994, EDIFACT, SAP IDOCS, LOCKBOX
• On-boarding new EDI Trading partners, Connectivity setups, new maps implementation and changes
• Coordination with Vendor, Business and Trading partners during all phases of functional analysis, development, and delivery
• EDI testing in alignment with Vendor, Business and Trading partners
• Managing the overall EDI system Objectives and tasks
• Familiar with understanding all phases of project development life cycle using standard methodologies including analysis, design, and development of software applications
• Experience in new ( migration ) trading partner setups with communication setups using Sterling Integrator
• Creating test deliverables, writing test scripts and perform different levels of testing of EDI
• Technical expertise of understanding the EDI documents, making necessary changes according to business needs and testing
• Responsible for the demand management from business , vendor management in aligning them with demand, part of the technical implementation and testing.
• Deep knowledge on analysing and troubleshooting EDI issues to ensure data integrity and seamless transactions.
