About The Role

As an EDI Analyst I, you will help power the customer-facing data exchanges that connect Morris & Dickson with retail pharmacies, hospitals, and other healthcare customers.

In this role, you will combine EDI support, business systems analysis, customer configuration, and technical troubleshooting. You will partner with customers and internal teams to configure integrations, monitor data exchanges, investigate issues, and keep business-critical information moving accurately and reliably.

You may be a strong fit if you are naturally curious, enjoy solving complex problems, and learn new systems quickly. Direct EDI experience is valuable but not required; we also welcome candidates with backgrounds in IT support, business systems, technical support, data analysis, or application support.

Work environment

This role is primarily onsite to support hands-on training, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. Standard business hours apply, with occasional after-hours support for business-critical issues.

What You’ll Do

• Configure and maintain customer EDI connections and data exchange processes
• Support integrations for retail pharmacy, hospital, and other healthcare customers
• Monitor EDI transactions and data transfers, investigate failures or exceptions, perform root-cause analysis, and drive issues through resolution.
• Gather and translate technical requirements from customers and internal business partners
• Partner with customers, Sales, Customer Service, and IT teams to resolve support needs and improve EDI-related processes
• Create and maintain clear documentation for customer configurations, support procedures, and workflows
• Support testing and validation for new customer implementations and system enhancements
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and the overall customer experience

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• At least one year of experience in IT support, business systems, technical support, application support, data analysis, or a related field
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new systems, applications, and technologies quickly
• Confidence working directly with customers and business stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
• Experience working with software applications, business systems, or data-driven environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technologies to improve productivity and problem-solving
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on exposure to EDI transactions, integrations, or data exchange processes
• Exposure to SQL, databases, reporting tools, or data analytics
• Experience supporting software applications or business systems
• Familiarity with XML, flat files, APIs, or other data formats
• Experience with ticketing or issue-tracking systems
