Job summary

Ace Hardware is seeking an EDI Analyst to join the Accounts Payable team in South Carolina. The role focuses on improving EDI invoice processing accuracy, reducing errors, and partnering with vendors and business partners for sustainable solutions.

You will monitor transactions, build reports, and deliver KPI insights while supporting continuous process improvements and training for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume accounts payable environment with vendor relationships and payment processing
• Working knowledge of EDI, including interpreting segments and elements
• Understanding end-to-end AP processes with stock replenishment and drop ship impacts
• Ability to assess cross-functional finance impacts from receiving transactions
• Proven ability to build strong vendor and AR/AP stakeholder relationships
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven insights
• Experience analyzing large data sets and translating data into actionable insights
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), Word, PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication and professional report writing

Responsibilities

• Build and review reports to identify EDI errors and data discrepancies
• Evaluate EDI exception errors and root causes with vendors for sustainable solutions
• Develop KPI scorecards on invoice processing accuracy and EDI rejection rate
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve EDI processes and workflows
• Lead cross-functional teams in the EDI error resolution process
• Provide training and ongoing support to business partners and A/P team
• Assist manager in overseeing daily department operations
