Job summary

Qwikkit is seeking an Edgebander Technician in Houston to own the edgebanding line and PUR glue system. You will set up, adjust, monitor, and maintain equipment to meet daily production targets, while ensuring safety and quality across components.

You will learn to operate and maintain the IMA edgebanding line, document throughput and defects, and train fellow operators on standard work and safety protocols as part of a collaborative manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining an edgebanding machine.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and quality-focused outputs.
• Ability to operate production equipment at the expected rate while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate edgebanding equipment and PUR glue system.
• Adjust bander height, glue temperature, feed settings, and material requirements.
• Load and feed components while running production at the expected rate.
