Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to service Small to Medium UPS systems and Battery modules in the Edge market across New Jersey. You will perform on-site and phone support, maintain schedules, and ensure customer satisfaction, while adhering to safety policies and company procedures.

The role requires hands-on electrical/electronic skills, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. Vertiv offers a comprehensive benefits package and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• ASEET or AMEET, or progress towards, is preferred.
• High School or Vocational School Diploma.
• 2-4 years military experience in a related technical field.
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong communication and time-management abilities.
• Ability to follow written technical documentation and operate safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and as per company policies and procedures.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues.
• Maintain and service company vehicle and equipment as required.
• Complete accurate administrative tasks (time cards, reports) per guidelines.
• Strive to achieve a first-time fix and high customer satisfaction.
