Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on Small to Medium UPS, Power Distribution Units & Battery systems (2-120KVA). You will support customers in the Edge market segment, including retail and municipal sectors, building strong rapport and ensuring quality service.

Responsibilities include on-site service tasks, safety adherence, and timely administration. Travel is required; a valid license and drug/background checks may be required by customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or related technical role.
• Must be able to travel and work on-site at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned per policies.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on issues.
• Ensure safety guidelines and PPE usage.
• Maintain administrative tasks and inventory.
• Provide first-time-fix when possible.
