Job summary

Moondream in San Francisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer to own the technical side of deals from first call to deployment. You’ll map the customer’s video pipeline, infrastructure constraints, and true needs, not just what they say they want.

Build POCs that prove Moondream works in the customer’s environment—cameras, hardware, and network. Debug across the stack from model inference to bare-metal quirks, and relay real customer problems to engineering to improve the product.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales or solutions engineering and turning POCs into production deployments.
• Ability to write working integrations in Python or C++ while screen-sharing with customers.
• Experience debugging video pipelines, networking, hardware and deployment tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical side of deals from first call to deployment and understand the customer's video pipeline and constraints.
• Build POCs that prove Moondream works in the customer's environment: cameras, hardware and network.
• Debug across the full stack—from model inference to containerization and bare-metal quirks.
• Feed real customer problems back to engineering to improve the product, not just slides.
• Spend time on-site at customer edges to troubleshoot live configurations.
