Job summary

Moondream AI is seeking a Solutions Engineer in San Francisco to own the technical side of deals from first call to deployment. You will map the customer's video pipeline, infrastructure constraints, and needs, then build POCs that run in their environment—cameras, hardware, and network.

The role requires hands-on coding in Python or C++, debugging across video ingestion, networking, and deployment tooling, and collaborating with engineering for production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales or solutions engineering with production deployments.
• Ability to write integrations in Python or C++ and demo to customers.
• Experience debugging video pipelines, networking, hardware, and deployment tooling.
• Experience with on-prem deployments and resist cloud-only approaches.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical side of deals from first call to deployment.
• Build POCs that prove Moondream works in the customer's environment.
• Debug across the full stack: model inference, video ingest, container orchestration, bare-metal quirks.
• Feed real customer problems back to engineering to improve the product.
• Spend a Tuesday afternoon SSH'd into a customer's edge device to diagnose issues.
