Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician in New Jersey to perform scheduled and remedial service on Small to Medium UPS, Power Distribution Units & Battery systems (2-120KVA). You will establish rapport with customers, coworkers, and sales teams while supporting Edge market segment clients including retail, financial, and municipal sectors.

Travel is required; duties include on-site service, safety compliance, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• ASEET or AMEET preferred or in progress.
• High School or Vocational Diploma required.
• 2–4 years military experience in a related technical field or 0–2 years relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per policies.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on issues.
• Implement Field Change Notices per guidelines.
• Maintain and operate the company vehicle per policy.
