Clarity Innovations, a national security software and data engineering company, seeks a Manager and Tech Lead for Platform Engineering to guide a team of platform engineers in designing, deploying, and maintaining distributed edge computing infrastructure at remote locations.

The role blends hands-on technical execution with mentorship, automating edge provisioning using Ansible, Terraform, and custom deployment pipelines, and building observability with Prometheus and Grafana to ensure uptime

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3+ years deploying and managing edge computing environments with distributed nodes.
• Strong understanding of Linux, Windows, and virtualization basics.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a platform engineering team with hands-on code reviews and sprint planning.
• Automate edge provisioning and configuration with Ansible, Terraform, and custom deployment pipelines.
• Implement monitoring/observability with Prometheus and Grafana for edge clusters.
• Design/build CI/CD pipelines for remote software updates to edge nodes.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis, coordinating with customers and stakeholders.
