Job summary

Clarity Innovations is seeking a Senior Principal Platform Engineer to own and run the on-prem Kubernetes platform used across our organization. You will own an in-house cluster provisioning tool as a product, while also maintaining clusters, storage, networking, and hardware underneath it.

You'll work in the XP style with daily pairing, shipping small, tested increments, and embedding security, observability, and IAM across the platform to support critical national security missions.

Qualifications

• Experience building on-prem Kubernetes platforms and provisioning tooling.
• Strong knowledge of security and compliance in enterprise infrastructure.
• Ability to work in XP/agile team environments and pair programming.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own the in-house cluster provisioning tool as a software product.
• Run and maintain on-prem Kubernetes clusters across the company.
• Manage storage, networking, and hardware underpinning the clusters.
• Build security into the platform: IAM, secrets, policy-as-code.
• Collaborate with XP team to plan, implement and ship in small increments.
