Job summary

iTerra Solutions LLC is seeking an Computer Science & Computer Vision AI/ML Intern to build edge‑native CV models and deploy them on NVIDIA Jetson devices. You will collect field data, label datasets, and evaluate fusion with RF data to support sensor perception in DDIL environments.

The role is an early‑career internship, onsite at Hatillo, Puerto Rico, with strong mentorship from the CTO and a path toward a full‑time role for the right candidate. Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on work with CV and ML: show what you built, not just theory.
• Proficiency in Python, NumPy, and ML frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Understanding of OpenCV and computer vision fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Edge-based computer vision: detect and track Group 1-3 airframes on the client device.
• Deploy models on NVIDIA Jetson with quantization and TensorRT considerations.
• Build and maintain dataset labeling pipelines; manage splits that avoid leakage.
• Capture field data in real-world conditions; run collection sessions.
