A leading company in manufacturing seeks an Edge Band Machine Operator for 3rd shift operations. An edge banding machine operator is responsible for operating equipment that applies edge banding materials (usually PVC, wood veneer, or melamine) to the exposed edges of panels (often particleboard, MDF, or plywood) to create a finished appearance and improve durability.
Requirements:
This role involves physical demands such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, gripping, stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting, and lifting/carrying weights, with varying frequency throughout the workday. PPE requirements include safety glasses, hearing protection, and closed-toed shoes.
