Palantir Technologies seeks a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to help build autonomous systems for edge and austere environments. You will work on integrating sensors, AI, and control systems to enable remote and autonomous operation across diverse platforms.

You will collaborate with experts in sensing, AI, and systems engineering to deliver robust, production-ready software and deployments, including on-edge and hybrid-cloud configurations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience integrating and deploying software to edge or autonomous systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Rust, C++, or Java.
• Experience with networking, Linux, CI/CD tooling, and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, integrate, and deploy mission-critical software and AI solutions for autonomy and navigation.
• Integrate autonomy software with sensors, actuators, and autonomous platforms.
• Make things work on edge, on-prem, and hybrid-cloud environments with deployment and security focus.
• Collaborate with sensing, AI, and systems engineering experts to deliver integrated solutions.
