Job summary

Fresh Consulting is seeking an experienced senior DevOps/Release engineer to own the build, test, and deployment pipeline for our distributed computer vision platform across edge sites in customer facilities. This full-time role collaborates with engineering to harden release processes, drive deployment automation, and pioneer LLM-driven test generation and validation.

You will lead end-to-end release orchestration, fleet automation for Linux edge nodes, and CI/CD improvements to support offline

Qualifications

• 10+ years in release engineering, DevOps, or SRE shipping production Linux systems.
• Expert Python (3.8+) with packaging and PEP 440 discipline.
• Ownership of Linux fleets at scale — kernel, systemd, networking, package management.
• Strong runbook writing and post-incident documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end release pipeline across Bazel monorepo and Python deployables.
• Maintain Ansible-driven fleet automation for Linux edge nodes.
• Manage update tooling written in Golang.
• Build LLM-powered automated testing systems for spec-based test generation.
• Harden CI/CD for airgap and offline deployments with signed artifacts.
• Drive deployment observability: telemetry, drift detection, post-deploy health checks.
• Mentor engineers on release hygiene and infrastructure-as-code practices.
