Job summary

ClearObject is seeking a Vision AI Engineer to join a fast-moving team building advanced Vision AI solutions. You will partner with lead engineers to specify, build, deploy, and operate the full lifecycle of Vision AI initiatives, serving as the technical authority on Vision AI/ML in production environments.

This role emphasizes hands-on computer vision, edge AI, and systems programming within a fast-paced, innovation-driven company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• 1+ years deploying or operating computer vision/ML systems in production.
• Hands-on Vision AI/ML deployment experience in production.
• Proficiency with Linux and shell scripting.
• Hardware selection and integration for vision systems.
• Networking and security best practices for connected systems.
• Python development; C/C++ experience is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience with OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or ONNX in deployment.

Responsibilities

• Scope and design Vision AI solutions with customers, defining requirements and success criteria.
• Design end-to-end architectures including cameras, edge compute, networking, and cloud integration.
• Create documentation with diagrams and deployment procedures.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers on model requirements and inference pipelines.
• Configure hardware, install and validate vision system components, and optimize inputs.
• Manage Linux-based systems, security hardening, and automation tooling.
• Deploy and manage workloads across cloud and edge environments using Docker and CI/CD.
