Job summary

ZEDEDA in San Jose, CA is seeking an entry-level Software Engineer at the intersection of AI and edge infrastructure. You will collaborate with experienced engineers on real-world problems in edge orchestration, learning from first principles and using AI tools in daily development.

This onsite role is ideal for a recent graduate or engineers with up to two years of experience. Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/AI/related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational ML concepts: neural networks, deep learning, training and inference.
• Familiarity with ONNX, GenAI architectures, or PyTorch/TensorFlow.
• Practical exposure to Kubernetes concepts and basic Linux shell.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software components bridging AI model lifecycle with Kubernetes-based edge orchestration.
• Build and extend Kubernetes controllers, operators, and CRDs for AI workloads at the edge.
• Work with ONNX, GenAI, and ML models in production-ready pipelines and edge environments.
• Use AI coding agents as part of daily development workflow and contribute to open-source components.
