Job summary

Syntiant Corp. in California is seeking an experienced Field Applications Engineer to partner with customers, sales, product and engineering.

From early product evaluation to production, you will help deploy edge AI and sensor solutions, lead demos, workshops, and training, and translate customer needs into practical designs. You will bring a solid embedded systems background, strong communication skills, and a track record of solving technical challenges across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering/physical science field.
• 8+ years in field applications or related customer-facing roles.
• Experience with product demonstrations, design-ins, and production ramps.
• Strong embedded systems background across processors, microcontrollers, sensors, or related semiconductors.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-level issues and explain tradeoffs clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical contact for customers, sales, distributors, and engineering.
• Support engagements from product discovery through design-in and production.
• Assist in evaluating, integrating, and deploying Syntiant solutions.
• Lead product demos, workshops, trainings, and reviews.
• Recommend solutions based on requirements and system constraints.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-level issues with customers.
• Share customer feedback with engineering, product, and business teams.
• Create technical docs, training materials, and demo content.
• Partner with sales to drive adoption and design wins.
• Drive issues to closure with ownership and follow-up.
• Travel to customer sites and events as needed.
