Job summary

Volusia County Schools is seeking an EDEP Facilitator on Assignment to manage and enrich the Extended Day Enrichment Program at Ormond Beach Elementary School. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating activities, and maintaining records while ensuring safety and positive relations with families and school staff.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic computer skills, CPR/First Aid certification within the first year, and a valid Florida driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Hold a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Experience in supervising/organizing activities for children
• Basic computer knowledge
• Will complete CPR/First Aid within first year
• Complete EDEP Group Leader Study Module within one year
• STAR training within one year preferred
• Valid Florida driver’s license or agree to obtain one within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the EDEP/BTB site.
• Follow district EDEP/BTB procedures and policies.
• Supervise staff and volunteers, including recruitment and training.
• Coordinate with staff and families to address needs.
• Plan and implement an engaging daily program for children.
• Maintain records such as attendance and reports.
• Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness of the site.
• Assist with emergencies and staff development sessions.
