Job summary

Forest Lake Elementary is seeking an EDEP Facilitator on Assignment to oversee daily operations of the Extended Day Enrichment Program. The role requires supervising staff and volunteers, coordinating activities, and maintaining records with a focus on safe, engaging programs for K-5 students.

Qualified candidates hold a high school diploma and have experience managing activities for children, with basic computer skills and CPR/First Aid within the first year of employment.

Qualifications

• Hold a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in working effectively with and managing organized activities for children (volunteer or paid).
• Basic computer knowledge; CPR/First Aid certification within first year.
• Possess a valid Florida Driver’s License or commit to obtaining within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the EDEP/BTB program site.
• Supervise designated personnel, including recruitment, selection, and training.
• Maintain records and reports (attendance, tuition, supplies, cash handling) as required.
• Plan and implement a varied, stimulating daily program for children K-5.
• Coordinate with staff and volunteers to ensure safety and smooth operation.
