Job summary

MISTRAS Group seeks a qualified NDT Eddy Current ET II Technician, full-time, in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate has experience inspecting metal tubing in heat exchangers and similar equipment using eddy current testing to detect flaws without causing damage.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, conducting tests, interpreting results, and guiding Level I personnel. Requirements include a high school diploma, SNT-TC1A-compliant program, and preferred radiography certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for UT/RT/MT/PT.
• Current NDE Level II certification or Level I with sufficient field hours.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment.
• Conduct tests using applicable NDT techniques.
• Interpret, evaluate and document results.
• Supervise trainees and Level I personnel when certified.
• Familiar with codes, standards and contractual documents.
• Work with minimal supervision and resolve issues promptly.
• Analyze information and present numerical data clearly.
