Mass General Brigham is hiring an ED Unit Service Tech for Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain, MA. The role includes EKG, phlebotomy, patient transport, and room stocking under supervision, with focus on Patient and Family Centered Care.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, BLS, and prior emergency department experience is preferred. The work is a 40-hour rotating day/evening shift with weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• BLS certification is needed; CNA/EMT credentials may be required per HR.
• Experience as a medical technician or patient care assistant in emergency settings is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide a safe environment using proper body mechanics and follow restraint policies under supervision.
• Perform secretarial duties: answer calls, page staff, copy records, and assist with confidential information flow.
• Transport patients and specimens; ensure safety and proper handling, including morgue transport when needed.
• Perform EKGs and phlebotomy under supervision; collect lab specimens and assist with in-house draws.
• Stock and restock rooms, maintain equipment like glidescopes, and notify when repairs are needed.
