Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Per Diem Unit Service Technician for the Emergency Department at the Jamaica Plain site. The role supports patient care with tasks including EKG, phlebotomy, equipment cleaning, room stocking, and patient transport under supervision of a licensed nurse.

You will perform secretarial duties, manage patient flow, assist with 1:1 sitting when needed, and uphold the Patient and Family Centered Care Model.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as medical technician or patient care assistant in ED preferred.
• Knowledge of basic clinical procedures and patient transport responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient transport and assistance in the Emergency Department.
• Assist with EKG, phlebotomy, and specimen handling under supervision.
• Perform secretarial duties to support efficient ED operations.
• Restock rooms and equipment, and ensure infection control practices.
