Bangor School Department's Fruit Street School seeks Educational Technician I, II, or III for the Self Contained/Choices Program. This 6.5-hour position runs 8:30 to 3:30 and supports students with behavioral needs in an elementary setting.

Authorization at the I/II/III level is required; experience with behavior-management, IEPs, ABA Discrete Trial instruction, and teamwork is valued. Willingness to assist with toileting and to learn Safety Care strategies is expected.

Formación

• Authorization as Educational Technician I, II, or III is required.
• Knowledge of behavior-management strategies necessary.
• Ability to implement behavior plans and IEPs needed.
• Experience in an elementary school setting is helpful.
• Experience working with emotional disabilities and autism preferred.
• ABA Discrete Trial instruction experience preferred.
• Desire to work in a team-approach environment.
• Willingness to assist with toileting may be necessary.
• Willingness to learn and use Safety Care strategies.
