Job summary

Fruit Street School in Bangor, ME seeks an Ed Tech I–III to support students with emotional disabilities and autism in an elementary setting. The role covers behavior management, implementing behavior plans, and assisting with IEPs under a team-based approach.

The position is 6.5 hours daily (8:30–3:30) with pay range $21.47–$28.36 per hour, depending on certification level and experience. Prior ABA DTI experience preferred; willingness to assist with toileting and to learn Safety Care

• Authorization as an Educational Technician I, II, or III required
• Knowledge of behavior-management strategies necessary
• Ability to implement behavior plans and individual education plans needed
• Experience working in an elementary school setting helpful
• Experience working in a program for children with emotional disabilities and Autism preferred
• Ability to use ABA Discrete Trial instruction preferred
• Desire to work in a team-approach environment
• Willingness to assist with toileting may be necessary
• Willingness to learn and use physical restraint and Safety Care strategies
• $21.47 - $28.36 hourly, depending on certification level and experience.
