Job summary

Fruit Street School in Bangor, ME seeks an Ed Tech I–III to support students with emotional disabilities and autism in an elementary setting. The role covers behavior management, implementing behavior plans, and assisting with IEPs under a team-based approach.

The position is 6.5 hours daily (8:30–3:30) with pay range $21.47–$28.36 per hour, depending on certification level and experience. Prior ABA DTI experience preferred; willingness to assist with toileting and to learn Safety Care

Qualifications

• Authorization as an Educational Technician I, II, or III required.
• Knowledge of behavior-management strategies necessary.
• Ability to implement behavior plans and IEPs needed.
• Experience in elementary school setting helpful.
• Experience with emotional disabilities and autism preferred.
• ABA Discrete Trial instruction preferred.
• Team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to assist with toileting may be necessary.
• Willingness to learn and use Safety Care strategies.
