Job summary

Morrison Center School in Scarborough, ME is seeking Full-Time Ed Techs to support students with autism and various developmental challenges. Work with a multidisciplinary team including BCBAs and therapists to deliver experiential learning and life skills in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

  • Ed Tech I requires a high school diploma.
  • Ed Tech II requires 60+ college credit hours from an accredited institution.
  • Ed Tech III requires 90+ college credit hours from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

  • Support classroom instruction in individual and group settings.
  • Assist students with daily living skills, including feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking.
  • Foster an organized, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training in BHP, CPR/First Aid, and Crisis Intervention.
  • Communicate with families and team members to support holistic care.

Requirements Of The Ed Tech
  • Ed Tech I: High school diploma
  • Ed Tech II: 60+ college credit hours from an accredited institution
  • Ed Tech III: 90+ college credit hours from an accredited institution
  • BHP certification training available upon hire
  • Ability to learn and grow in the field of special education and behavioral support
  • Ability to be on site in Scarborough, Maine, Monday - Friday 8am - 3:30pm
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
