Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed or certifiable in applicable state credentials (NNA/MA/CNA) as required

## ED Tech - Full-timeApply: Mercyhealth Freeport Hospital - Freeport, IL: Full time: Posted Today: 2026-03399**Overview:**As an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech), you will support the healthcare team in delivering timely, high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting. You will assist with clinical procedures, including EKGs, IV starts, venipunctures, splinting, CPR, and patient transport, while maintaining accurate documentation, managing supplies, and ensuring a safe and efficient care environment. This role requires strong teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to exceptional patient care during urgent and emergent situations.**Schedule:** Three, 12-hour shifts per week**Shift:** Varies **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** Provides patient care as assigned and per routine, according to standards of care, shift routines, and policies and procedures.* Answers call lights in a timely and appropriate manner* Documents care provided according to standards* Maintains a clean work and patient environment* Maintains supplies, stocking new supplies and disposing of expired or damaged supplies.* Processes orders in an accurate and timely manner. Answers the telephone and call lights appropriately and provides information or relays messages to patients and staff.* Directs visitors to patient's rooms.
