Job Summary And Responsibilities

Are you ready to be a vital part of our fast-paced Emergency Department team? We're seeking a skilled and dedicated ED Technician to directly support physicians and nurses in delivering critical patient care.

What You’ll Do

• Hands‑on Care: Assist physicians with procedures, prepare wounds, apply dressings, monitor vital signs, and establish IV access/perform phlebotomy as ordered.
• Essential Skills: Perform 12‑Lead EKGs, apply OrthoGlass Splints, and transport patients.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate patient care with staff, ensure department readiness (stocking/cleaning), and provide ED support as needed.
• On‑Call Ready: Must be able to respond to emergencies with a 30‑minute response time when on call.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or GED.
• Experience (ONE of the following): One (1) year direct patient care, Paramedic/EMT certification, or completion of second term Nursing Curriculum.
• Certifications: American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Skills: Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment. Arrythmia class & IV training required within 90 days.
• Preferred: ED and/or Phlebotomy experience.
