Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an RN for the Emergency Screening Crisis Unit at Community Medical Center. The role is part-time, with a day shift, located at 99 Highway 37 West, Toms River, NJ.

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Candidates must hold an active NJ RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with at least one year of Behavioral or ED experience.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing is required.
• AHA BLS, ACLS & PALS certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred.
• At least one year of Behavioral Health or ED patient care experience is required.
• Experience with EPIC or similar EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Serve as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers.
• Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately.
