Job summary

Atrium Health University City Emergency Department is seeking a skilled RN supervisor to provide and coordinate high-quality patient care in a busy ED. This full-time role supports 24-hour coverage with a mid-shift schedule and competitive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing program completion, at least 6 months of RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS. ACLS is required within 6 months of hire, with inpatient RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• At least 6 months RN experience; this position is not for new graduates.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care per established standards.
• Apply evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and strong communication while coordinating care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
