Grandview Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department on a part-time midshift (11am-11pm) with Saturday/Sunday coverage at Grandview Medical Center. The role involves rapid assessment, patient education, and collaboration with the care team to deliver high-quality care.

Required 0–2 years in clinical nursing or student rotations, RN licensure, and BCLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• State RN licensure (or compact) required or in process.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop care plans.
• Respond to emergencies with CPR and code team involvement.
• Document care and patient education in the medical record.
• Maintain infection control and ensure patient safety.
• Participate in audits, chart reviews, and compliance checks.
