Job summary

Grandview Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This PRN MidShift role runs 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM in the ED, with responsibilities spanning patient assessment, medication administration, and collaboration with the care team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.

The RN will work within established protocols, coordinate care plans, and participate in emergency procedures, CPR, and code team activities while educating patients and families about

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• RN license active/in good standing required.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
• Maintain infection control practices and patient safety in all care activities.
