Job summary

UP Health System - Bell, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an Emergency Department RN for 6 x 12-hour night shifts with alternating weekends. The role offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants and is integral to delivering high-quality, compassionate emergency care.

Applicants should hold a Michigan RN license with an associate degree in nursing (bachelor's preferred). Required certifications include BLS-HCP, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC within one year. A Med/Surg background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license required.
• Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to care team, physicians, patients and families.
• Assists patients with ADLs and mobility.
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines and with transfers, discharges and referrals.
• Provides patient/family education appropriate to age and culture.
• Acts as advocate for patient well-being; performs related duties as assigned.
