Job summary

UP Health System - Bell, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a skilled Emergency Department RN (ED RN) to join our team. The role offers 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced ED environment, with PRN/0.001 FTE or as-needed arrangements, focusing on compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Applicants must hold a Michigan RN license and an ADN; a BSN is preferred. Required certifications include BLS-HCP, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC, with prior Med/Surg experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license required.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school; bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to care team, physicians, patients and families.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines including transfers, discharges and referrals.
• Provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition.
