Job summary

Chickasaw Nation Medical Center is seeking a full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join the ED team on a night shift (6:30 PM–7:00 AM) spanning Sunday through Saturday with the stated rotation. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, IV therapy, and coordination with physicians to implement care plans.

Responsibilities include triage using the Emergency Severity Index, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and delivering education to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications are required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification is required.
• RN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop patient-centered care plans.
• Provide professional nursing care, education, and administer IV therapy per physician orders.
• Triages patients using the Emergency Severity Index and provides emergency treatment as needed.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and deliver emergency treatment.
• Advocate for patient education and culturally appropriate care.
