Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada, Oklahoma is seeking a full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our ED team. The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, develop patient-centered care plans in collaboration with patients and families, and administer IV therapy per physician orders.

Responsibilities include triage, interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias, emergency treatment, and ongoing patient education.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of crisis evaluation and de-escalation tactics.
• Must be a Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification or equivalent credential is required/desired.
• ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications are required or preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs comprehensive assessments and develops patient-centered care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Provides professional nursing care, education, and administers intravenous therapy per physician orders.
• Triages patients and initiates Emergency Treatment Protocols as necessary.
• Interprets cardiac arrhythmias and provides monitoring and emergent treatment as needed.
• Advocates and educates patients on diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Maintains confidentiality and safe environment in the ED.
