Corewell Health’s Greenville Hospital Emergency Center is hiring registered nurses to deliver patient care in a high‑acuity ED. The RN applies the ANA nursing process, maintains safety and quality, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team.

The role includes night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., 36 hours weekly, variable days, every third weekend. A sign‑on bonus of up to $10,000 is offered, with comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have active RN license in MI or state-equivalent where required.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred within 5 years of hire.
• American Heart Association or ARC BLS/ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC certifications required or within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care per ANA standards and nursing process.
• Upholds professional performance including ethics, communication, and collaboration.
• Provides safe, evidence-based care to ED patients with varying acuity.

Greenville Emergency Department is a community-based hospital that is part of theCorewellHealthcare System. The Greenville ED is a certified Primary Stroke Center and Level IIII Trauma Center. There are over 25 care spaces to treat patients with minor to major medical and traumatic emergencies. Interdisciplinary team members collaborate closely to provide relationship-based care for our patients and their loved ones. Greenville ED has over 29,000 visits/year and ranks highly in patient experience and throughput measures. We value teamwork, culture, and process improvement from each member of our team!

Scope of work (RN)

Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications
