Job summary

Vitruvian Health is seeking a Registration Clerk for the 7PM–7AM shift to register patients across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services and verify insurance coverage. You will be the first point of contact, collecting payments due to the facility with professionalism and courtesy.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED (some college preferred), up to 1 year hospital experience, and strong computer and customer service skills. Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or GED preferred. One or two years of college preferred.
• Experience: One-year experience in a hospital setting with public contact work preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: N/A
• Skills: Proficient with computers and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services per hospital policy.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits.
• Serve as the first point of contact for patients presenting to the facility.
