Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is hiring a Part Time Emergency Department Registered Nurse for evening shifts (11:00am–11:00pm). The role requires BSN/MSN preferred, ACLS/PALS/ENPC within 1 year, and BLS within 90 days.

The ED is a 37-bed unit with trauma center designation and extensive acute care services. Two 8-hour call shifts per 6-week schedule are required, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Virginia (compact/multi-state acceptable)
• BLS certification required with 90 days of hire
• ACLS & PALS/ENPC within 1 year of hire; Oncology Chemotherapy provider within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process
• Perform assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Coordinate care, teach health promotion and ensure patient safety
