Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a night rotation (7P–7A) on a 14-week temporary assignment with shifts totaling 36 hours per week. This position emphasizes a primary schedule with no other concurrent job commitments and offers $75/hour.

Required: nursing degree (ADN/BSN/Diploma), VA RN licensure eligibility, and at least 2 years in a hospital ED. ACLS/BLS/PALS/NIHSS/TNCC certification are required.

Qualifications

• AT LEAST 2 years of RECENT HOSPITAL EMERGENCY DEPT as an RN REQUIRED.
• EPIC user experience strongly preferred.
• Registered Nurse license eligible to practice in VA

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and critical thinking.
• Coordinate care, health teaching, and patient safety in a fast-paced ED setting.
