Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is hiring Emergency Department Registered Nurses for Full Time, Part Time, and Flexi positions. Shifts include Day, Night, Swing; 2 eight-hour call shifts per 6-week schedule. A sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 is offered for qualified candidates.

Minimum requirements include RN licensure and ACLS within 1 year; PALS or ENPC within 1 year; BLS within 90 days. BSN/MSN preferred; ED experience preferred with 2 years.

Qualifications

• RN-Associate's Degree or RN-Bachelor's Degree or RN-Diploma or RN-Master's Degree or RN-Doctorate Degree
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire; Emergency Care - ACLS & PALS or ENPC within 1 year of hire; Oncology Care ONS/ONCC or Sentara approved course Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Card within 6 months of hire.
• Women's Care - Perinatal departments; NRP within 6 months of hire.
• Inpatient Pediatrics. PALS within 6 months of hire. All Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.

• Deliver patient teaching and health promotion.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
