Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking staff to assist doctors and nursing staff in meeting the basic needs of patients. Daily tasks include feeding, cleaning, and monitoring vital signs to support patient care.

The role involves assisting with mobility, documenting measurements, and communicating changes to the RN as part of a cohesive care team. Additional duties may include conducting EKGs, phlebotomy, and blood glucose monitoring, with equipment maintenance and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressing

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressing
• Obtains and records vital signs, weights, and heights
• Assists patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activities
• Performs post mortem care
• Performs EKG's, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoring
• Observes and reports changes in patients' condition to the RN
• Maintains phlebotomy equipment and inventory
• Other related duties as assigned.
